Hi, Anonymous the vast majority of service, parts, and owners manuals on the internet are 'FREE' to download and all service manuals contain wiring diagrams in the back pages. The rest usually charge a modest fee around $10 sometimes more and there is a handful of obscure, rare, obsolete, and very old models that are no longer or never were available, then there is eBay where you may be able to find what you need at a very high price because of its age and rarity. Most of the 'FREE' manuals will cover your exact make, model, and year otherwise one will be provided that comes as close as possible to your bike and will have most of the same info that an exact manual would have.

This could also be caused by a faulty plug cap or coil. Seeing that the coils are much easier to test than the carbys are to remove,strip,clean,re-fit,adjust mixtures & syncronize,I suggest you start there. (see my tip on how to test motorcycle twin coils-in tips & tricks).

Just to get an idea what is going in you could also try & remove both spark plugs & compare them to each other. Is one black & sooty? - too rich- poor combustion Is one oily?- not firing or mechanical problem Hope this helps Regards Andrew Answered on Jun 08, 2015.

It will take about 2 quarts. Don't you have a owners manual with your motorcycle?

Drain the oil, replace the plug, add one quart. Check the dip stick, slowly continue to fill until you get to the proper level as indicated on the dip stick.

If you have not made friends with the guy or gal at the Yamaha Parts Department, you should go do that now. They will be a great source of information to you in the future. Find and use your owners manual. Thanks for your interest in FixYa.com Answered on Mar 01, 2013. There will be a starter relay that the thick cable from the positive (red) connected to the battery will run to. This relay is operated by the start button and operates a small low voltage coil that then connects the larger high amp connection to the starter. You can trace the thick positive back from the starter to the same relay.

Relay will have 4 wires - 2 thick red, a poitive + and earth that is switched via the start button. You can test the starter by bypassing the relay with a jumper lead fron the battery positive to the positive on the starter. The small coil that activates the relay (the two small wires) can be tested with a multimeter on OHMS scale - not sure of the reading that you should have for your bike but should not be open circuit. Check all the connectors are ok as they can be exposed to the elements and get corroded.
