. 198 Answers SOURCE: Your carberators have now settled and there is tar, or 'gunk' in your bikes fuel injectors inside your carbs. If you want to sell the bike the carberators MUST be rebuilt. You can get a service manual at Autozone etc. But you are not likely to be able to build the carbs correctly unless that is what you do for a living. It is tedious, delicate, and exacting work.

There are VERY small parts, e.g. Bearings, springs, and tubes. I highly recommend you have this work done.
